Article 1 – Basic provisions

These General Terms and Conditions regulate the rights and obligations between BEXPO s.r.o. as the seller and the buyer when concluding distance contracts through the e-shop operated at www.bexpo.sk.

The buyer is a natural or legal person who submits an order through the e-shop. By submitting the order, the buyer confirms that they have read, understood and agree with these Terms and Conditions.

Article 2 – Subject of the contract and product types

The subject of the contract may include e-learning courses, in-person or combined training courses, and plastic cards or certificates issued after successful completion of a course.

Article 3 – Order and conclusion of the contract

An order may be submitted through www.bexpo.sk after selecting a product, quantity and entering contact and billing details. The contract is concluded when the online card payment is confirmed or when the full invoiced amount is credited to the seller’s account.

Article 4 – Price and payment terms

All prices are stated in EUR excluding VAT and including VAT. The seller is a VAT payer and the current VAT rate is 23 %. Payment is possible by online card or bank transfer/invoice.

Article 5 – Delivery of the product

After successful payment, the e-learning course is made available in the client zone. In-person and combined courses are confirmed by e-mail. Plastic cards or certificates are sent after successful completion of the course.

Article 6 – Withdrawal from the contract

A consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days, unless the right expires due to access to digital content or full provision of the service under the conditions set by law. The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to business buyers.

Article 7 – Cancellation conditions for in-person courses

Cancellation is possible by e-mail to office@bexpo.sk. Cancellation more than 10 working days before the course is free of charge; 5–10 working days before the course a 30 % fee applies; less than 5 working days before the course a 50 % fee applies; on the day of the course or in case of non-attendance, 100 % of the price is charged.

Article 8 – Complaints procedure

The buyer may complain about defects in the provided product or service. Complaints must be submitted without undue delay by e-mail or post and must include identification of the buyer, order or invoice number, description of the defect and the requested method of settlement.

Article 9 – Alternative dispute resolution

A consumer may contact the seller with a request for remedy and may subsequently submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution under Slovak law. The competent authority may be the Slovak Trade Inspection or another authorised body.

Article 10 – Personal data protection

The seller processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and Slovak data protection legislation. Detailed information is available in the Personal Data Protection document at www.bexpo.sk.

Article 11 – Final provisions

These Terms and Conditions are valid and effective from 1 May 2025. Legal relations not regulated by these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.
