Basic training - agricultural machinery (2 groups)

A course for two groups of agricultural machinery. You choose from three, that is self propelled forage harvesters, combine harvesters and special crop harvesting machines. Tell us when registering which two the operator uses.

It makes sense where several machines alternate during the season and you do not want to arrange two separate trainings.

We go through the construction and the controls of both machines, preparation before the season and the daily check, work with the cutting and harvesting mechanism, the procedure when it clogs and the rule that cleaning is done only with the engine switched off and the parts at a standstill, work on a slope and the stability of the machine, moving on a public road including width and lighting, the risk of fire on stubble and equipping the machine with a fire extinguisher, the movement of people around the machine and reversing.

The course ends with a written test. After that we issue a written certificate of completed education and training under Section 16(1)(b) of Act No. 124/2006 Coll.

The course is open to a person from 18 years of age who has completed compulsory basic schooling and holds a medical report on fitness for work that is not older than six months. Without a driving licence we issue a certificate limited to the workplace.

The certificate has to be kept valid. The familiarisation is repeated at least once every three years under Section 7(5) of Act No. 124/2006 Coll., and updating professional training every five years under Section 16(8). If one type of machine is enough for you, choose the course for one group. For the whole fleet the course for three groups is the best value.

We train under Slovak regulations, which derive from Directive 2009/104/EC on the use of work equipment, valid throughout the European Union. In our experience the certificate is commonly recognised in the other member states.
