Basic training - construction machinery (1 group)

The first group is machinery and equipment for earthworks. It includes a bulldozer, an excavator and a trencher, a loading and unloading machine, a milling machine and a trencher, a scraper, a pipe layer and a roller.

This course pays off when one operator alternates between several machines. We will issue the certificate for those he really operates, so send us their list when registering. If you need only one machine, choose the course for it directly, the links are above.

We go through the common basis for earthmoving machinery, that is the stability and loading of the machine, work on a slope and the permitted gradients, work at the edge of an excavation and in the protection zone of utility lines, the movement of people in the working area of the machine, moving the machine on a public road and on a low loader, the check before the start of a shift and shutting down. To that we add the specifics of each machine for which you need the certificate.

The course ends with a written test. After that we issue a written certificate of completed education and training under Section 16(1)(b) of Act No. 124/2006 Coll.

The course is open to a person from 18 years of age who has completed compulsory basic schooling and holds a medical report on fitness for work that is not older than six months. Without a driving licence we issue a certificate limited to the workplace.

The certificate has to be kept valid. The familiarisation is repeated at least once every three years under Section 7(5) of Act No. 124/2006 Coll., and updating professional training every five years under Section 16(8). We train under Slovak regulations, which derive from Directive 2009/104/EC on the use of work equipment, valid throughout the European Union. In our experience the certificate is commonly recognised in the other member states.
