Processing and protection of personal data at BEXPO s.r.o.
For the purpose of cooperation with your company and persons acting on its behalf, or cooperation directly with you as a natural person entrepreneur or non-entrepreneur, BEXPO s.r.o. processes the personal data of natural persons that have been provided to us. When processing personal data, we proceed in accordance with valid legal regulations and guidelines, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection.

Purposes of processing
Performance of contractual activities, activities based on an accepted order, or activities based on granted consent.
Legal basis for processing personal data
Current legislation allows personal data to be processed on several legal bases, and processing may also take place without the consent of the data subject.
If there is no other legal basis for processing, personal data will be processed only on the basis of and within the scope of the data subject’s consent.
The legal basis related to our activities is mainly set out in the following legislation: Labour Code, Act on Occupational Safety and Health, Act on Labour Inspection, Act on Fire Protection, and Act on the Protection, Support and Development of Public Health.
Personal data processed
We process the following personal data: name, surname, title, date of birth, personal identification number, permanent address, e-mail address, telephone number, signature, medical fitness assessment, photograph, marital status, citizenship, nationality, number of dependent children, job position, employer name and similar data. When visiting our website, we may also process IP address, web logs and cookies.
We also process personal data that you provide to us yourself for the following reasons:
- Provision of services.
- Marketing and advertising purposes, including sending promotional materials and e-mails.
- Photographs and video recordings from public events, training courses and seminars that we organise. Photographs are used in promotional materials, especially on our website and social networks.
If you do not wish to appear in such records, please inform us in person, by e-mail or by telephone.
Recipients of personal data
Personal data processed by the controller may be processed by third parties only if we are obliged to provide such data under Slovak legislation or if providing the data to a third party is necessary for the performance of a contractual relationship.
We do not transfer personal data to third countries or international organisations.
Retention period
The retention period depends on the purpose of processing and on the required statutory archiving period under Slovak legislation.
Security of personal data
The controller processes personal data manually or using electronic information systems and has adopted all necessary technical, personnel and control measures to ensure the highest possible level of protection.
Rights of the data subject
As a data subject, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, objection to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
Provision of personal data
If you decide to cooperate or communicate with our company, or visit our website, it may be necessary to provide personal data to the necessary extent. If you do not provide contact details, we may not be able to contact you or provide access to certain sections of our website.
Automated decision-making and profiling
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling for the above purposes.
Protection and confidentiality
We protect the provided personal data to the highest possible extent. The controller, employees and collaborators who process personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality even after the end of cooperation.
