The certificate for operating construction machinery has to be kept valid. There are two duties for that and it is worth not confusing them.
Repeated familiarisation is carried out at least once every three years under Section 7(5) of Act No. 124/2006 Coll. In it we go through the changes in the regulations since the last training and the mistakes we see most often in practice. Those are working too close to the edge of an excavation, exceeding the permitted gradient of a slope, people moving in the working area of the machine and skipped checks before the start of a shift. This course covers precisely that duty.
Updating professional training is a separate matter and is carried out every five years under Section 16(8) of the same Act. We run it too, just get in touch and we will arrange a date.
Write to us which machines the operator uses and we will adapt the training to that. If you are not sure which duty is due, send the date from the certificate and we will tell you.
If the operator does not have the certificate yet, start with the basic course for the first group of machines or directly for the specific machine.
