Processing and personal data protection within BEXPO s.r.o.

For the purpose of cooperation with your company and persons acting on its behalf, alternatively cooperation directly with you as a natural person entrepreneur or a natural person non-entrepreneur, our company BEXPO s.r.o. processes personal data provided by natural persons. We proceed according to applicable legislation and guidelines, particularly the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament from 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data which repeals the Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR) and according to the provisions of Act no. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and including amendments to certain laws while processing personal data.

Purposes of processing for which the personal data are intended for

Performance of contractual activities, execution of activities on the basis of a received order or on the basis of a granted consent.

Legal basis of personal data processing

The current legislation enables to process personal data on the basis of multiple legal bases while the processing of personal data can occur even without the consent of the data subject.

If there is no other legal basis for the processing of personal data, personal data shall be processed only on the basis and in the extent of the data subject’s consent.

The legal basis connected to our activity is laid down in particular within the following legislation: Act no. 311/2001 Coll. Labour Code, Act no. 124/2006 Coll. Act on occupational safety and health and amendments to certain laws, Act no. 125/2006 Coll. Act on labour inspection and amendments to Act no. 82/2005 Coll. on illegal work and illegal employment and including amendments to certain laws, Act no. 314/2001 Coll. Act on fire protection, Act no. 355/2007 Coll. Act on protection, support and development of public health including amendments to certain laws.

Processed personal data

We process the following personal data: first and last name, degree, date of birth, identity number, address of permanent residence, e-mail address, telephone, signature, medical certificate, photograph, marital status, citizenship, nationality, number of dependent children, job title, name of the employer etc. In case of visiting our website – IP address, web logs, cookies.

We also process personal data that you entrust us yourself for the following reasons:

  1. Provision of services
  2. Marketing and advertisement purposes for sending promotional materials and e-mails – we use your personal data (e-mail and name) for the purpose of marketing and for sending e-mails.
  3. Photos and video recordings – from public events, trainings and workshops that we organise. We use photos in promotional materials, particularly on our website and social networks.

Personal data recipients

Personal data processed by the Controller can be processed by third parties, only if the obligation to provide personal data results for us from the legislation of the Slovak Republic or the provision to a third party is inevitable for the purposes of the performance of a contractual relation.

We do not perform a transfer of personal data to a third country or international organisations.

Personal data retention period

It depends on the purpose of processing and the necessity and prescribed period of archiving according to the legislation of the Slovak Republic.

Security of personal data

The Controller processes personal data manually or by using electronic information systems. The Controller has adopted all necessary measures not only of the technical or personnel and controlling nature in order to set the highest level of personal data protection.

Rights of the data subject

As a data subject you have the following rights:

  1. Right of access – you can ask us for access to personal data about you that we are processing. The Controller shall provide a copy of processed personal data.
  2. Right to rectification – you can ask us for a rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data about you that we are processing.
  3. Right for erasure – you can ask us for an erasure of your personal data.
  4. Right to restriction of processing – you can ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data.
  5. Right to data portability – you have the right to acquire personal data that concern you and that you have provided to us, via a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format provided that this right does not adversely affect other persons’ rights and freedoms.
  6. Right to withdraw consent – if the processing of your personal data is based on a consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent with the processing of personal data for the purpose for which you have granted this consent at any time.
  7. Right to object – you can object to the processing of your personal data to the Controller at any time for the purposes of direct marketing executed on the basis of a legitimate interest of the Controller.
  8. Right to lodge a complaint – you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority which is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.

Provision of personal data

If you decide to cooperate or communicate with our company, alternatively visit our website, it will be necessary to provide us with personal data to the extent necessary. If you do not provide us with your personal data (contact details), it will not be possible to contact you for the purpose of starting a cooperation, alternatively you will not have access to some sections of our websites entry into which is bound by login information. This does not apply for the processing of cookies which you can change in the cookie settings on our website, or in the settings of your browser in a manner that your personal data will not be provided to us and thus we will not process these data about you.

Existence of automated decision-making including profiling

We do not perform automated decision-making or profiling when processing personal data for the above specified purposes.

Security and personal data protection

We protect the provided personal data to the highest possible extent. Our company has adopted all necessary measures of the technical, personnel and controlling nature in order to set the highest level of personal data protection. We have adopted and keep technical and organisational measures which restrict misuse, damage or destruction of your personal data.

Confidentiality

The Controller as well as their employees and co-workers who will process your personal data are obliged to keep the personal data and security measures confidential since their provision could threaten the security of your personal data. This confidentiality remains in force also after the termination of the mutual cooperation.

The data subject can send any questions related to the protection of personal data to the e-mail: office@bexpo.sk or directly to the address of the Controller.

The Controller is obliged to inform the data subject without undue delay about the breach of personal data protection, if such personal data breach may lead to a high risk for the rights of the natural person.
