Basic training - construction machinery (3 groups)

This course covers all three groups of construction machinery. The first is machinery for earthworks, the second machinery for the production, processing and transport of concrete mixes, the third other machinery and equipment, which also includes a special motorised snow machine.

Companies with a wider fleet take it when they do not want to handle training machine by machine. We will issue the certificate for the machines the operator really uses, so send us their list when registering. If you need only one group, separate courses are available for the first group and for the first and second group.

We go through the common basis for all groups, that is the stability and loading of the machine, work on a slope and at the edge of an excavation, work in the protection zone of utility lines and of electrical lines, the movement of people in the working area, moving the machine on a road and on a low loader, the check before the start of a shift and shutting down. To that we add the specifics of each machine for which you need the certificate.

The course ends with a written test. After that we issue a written certificate of completed education and training under Section 16(1)(b) of Act No. 124/2006 Coll.

The course is open to a person from 18 years of age who has completed compulsory basic schooling and holds a medical report on fitness for work that is not older than six months. Without a driving licence we issue a certificate limited to the workplace.

The certificate has to be kept valid. The familiarisation is repeated at least once every three years under Section 7(5) of Act No. 124/2006 Coll., and updating professional training every five years under Section 16(8). We train under Slovak regulations, which derive from Directive 2009/104/EC on the use of work equipment, valid throughout the European Union. In our experience the certificate is commonly recognised in the other member states.
