Every employer must have an occupational safety service in place. This follows from Sections 21 and 22 of Act No. 124/2006 Coll. You either set it up with your own people, or you outsource it. Only a company holding an authorisation issued by the National Labour Inspectorate may provide it on a contract basis. We hold that authorisation under registration number BTS-0032/19 with unlimited validity, along with authorisations for fire protection, occupational health service and civil protection. For training and education of employees and managers we hold authorisation VVZ-0022/19-01.1, so we deliver the training ourselves. Outsourcing the service does not relieve you as the employer of responsibility for the safety of your people. The Act says so directly. That is why we do not produce paperwork for a drawer, we come to your workplaces.
Risk assessment. We identify hazards at your workplaces, evaluate the risk and propose measures. The result is a written risk assessment document. During an inspection it is one of the first things the inspector asks for.
Safety documentation tailored to you. Safety policy, operating rules, the list of work and workplaces prohibited to women and juveniles, provision of personal protective equipment, trauma plan. We write it around what you actually do, not from a template.
Employee instruction under Section 7 of the Act, on entry and repeated. We run it at your site or online, see our courses.
Workplace inspections. Our technician comes, walks the site and writes a record with deadlines. We then deal with the findings together with you, not with the paper.
Occupational accidents. We help investigate the causes, draw up the record and report it under Section 17 of the Act. In the case of a serious accident the technician goes to the site.
Representation during inspections. When the labour inspectorate arrives, we are there with you.
Part of the obligations is met by training specific occupations. Most often forklift trucks, load slingers, work at height, mobile elevating work platforms and construction machinery. You will find the full offer in our course catalogue.
Alongside the occupational safety service, an employer must also have an occupational health service and, where buildings are operated, fire protection. On construction sites safety coordination is added.
